About the art
Artist statement
Le Présent - The Present, came to me during a self-introspection moment, part of a grief.
The painting is varnished with a glossy effect which highlights the several used medium and the contrast.
Chinese ink, acrylic ink, acrylic, silver gilding, sprayed water.
The gilding allows my artworks to evolve during the day depending on the light.
Allowing several visions and aspects, my goal is also for the collectors to process their interpretation and appropriation of the painting until it fully feels like theirs.
My paintings are to be transmitted, but the emotions are to be exorcised and transformed as the owners will make one with the art.
