This series titled 'Abstractscape' represent landscapes composed of contrast between geometric and organic shape. These sceneries are made of digital collages of landscapes retrieved from Google, then reproduce on canvas to the exact same proportions and colors to give it a new physicality. Scape in the title denotes “an extensive view or scenery” and through this work: the remains of a landscape. In some ways with these paintings, I am in search of creating a composition that will be more satisfying than the real and where symmetry and nature have found together with a balance.
