About the art
Artist statement
Exploded Landscape is a series of digital drawings based on a collection of heavily retouched images of landscape found online. Using the lines I find in the photographs and a combination of imaginary once, I create the representation of a sort of soft explosion. Despite the clear aesthetic aspect of the drawings which an accumulation of organic, geometric lines and punchy colors produce a near abstraction composition, the work is a metaphor of how our landscapes are changing and are threatened by human actions they are.
The drawings are available as Limited Editions of 30, printed on Museum Etching paper 350 grams, signed and numbered.
