About the art
Artist statement
This work is inspired by the pebble and rock beaches on the coast of Asturias where I have my studio. It is a visual and abstract representation of the memory of closely observing the waves on the rocky beaches that have the name "Pedrero", which gives the title to this work.
My painting is very emotional and has stains and fields of color as the main builder of the composition, but the graphic gesture that amalgamates the composition also emerges.
It is acrylic and a gesso base on linen canvas.
