Artist statement
Starting from the bottom, manually cut grey paper strips measuring 13x3cm were glued together until the previously defined object height was reached. The resulting object was then painted once with black acrylic paint and five times with white acrylic paint. After the drying process, the white paint was sanded off until the first traces of the bottom layer became visible again.
