About the art
Artist statement
This artwork is distinguished by its three-dimensional, minimalist composition. A light-colored wooden frame serves as a base, highlighting a precise geometric arrangement. Two shapes intersect asymmetrically: one in pale yellow, the other in deep black. These figures partially emerge from the frame, creating a dynamic that invites the eye to explore the space beyond conventional boundaries. The sharp contrast between yellow and black, combined with the smooth texture of the materials, reinforces the visual effect and suggests a tension between stability and movement. The work skillfully plays with perceptions of depth and balance, prompting reflection on the nature of space in contemporary art. Its apparent simplicity hides a complexity that engages the observer in prolonged contemplation.
