Langley's artistic background relate to a wide variety of interests. He is well versed in Color Field painting - in particular, work by Morris Louis, Sam Gilliam, and Gene Davis, as well as the abstraction from Mark Rothko, Richard Diebenkorn, Callum Innes among others. "
