Artist statement
I work mainly from the rising of unconscious feelings from deep within our inner abyss. Those feelings come in a variety of ways and also bubble up to the surface and meet the reality of our daily existence. This abstract painting represents "a chess moderne", from the unconscious, showing a reflection of past when I used to play chess frequently. Interesting classic game with maneuvers I now also see and feel in painting abstractly.
