Artist statement
It is a painting made from a comic book from the 1950s. The color has been enhanced and the composition reworked in flat, a bit in the spirit of Lichtenstein's works with the difference that I am not using here of points. The canvas is relatively large and takes up space on a wall to cover the space with a theme that is both nostalgic and modern.
