Story
"My love for ancient primitive art is the reason I keep exploring traditional folk art alongside my fine art painting practice. Relief printing (block printing) is one of the ways I connect to primitive art forms through hand carving and hand printing. Each work is made with love for the unknown roots of the collective existence."
Printing Method
-The print is made by using a hand-carved linoleum block. The image from the block is transferred to the paper by hand with a burnishing tool, that means burnishing the paper against the inked printing block.
Printing Materials
-145g Zerkall paper with deckled edges (the lovely Zerkall Paper logo is visible at the right bottom corner when it's held up against the light
-Oil based ink ink
