Artist statement
杜蒙以玻璃为“版”,创作了《消逝的风景1》。该件作品分为浮雕和阴刻,玻璃本身成为作品一部分的同时,也用于后来《流动的风景》的长卷拓印。制作玻璃版泥稿的时候她并没有打草稿,很多线条、图形都是跟着感觉一点一点雕刻出来的。直到图像做出来后发现其中确实有点北京四合院“影壁”的影子,大概是因为从小耳濡目染。这件作品与杜蒙在北京的成长记忆相关,《消逝的风景1》的图像也来自一段可以追溯到09年的记忆。那段记忆让杜蒙深深感受到,城市的拆迁与动荡如何抹去了属于一代人的老北京城,而玻璃板上的留白正是代表了我记忆中对于这个城市的空缺。
