Artist statement
This composition has a majestic quality to it,the viewer perspective is from inside a boat traveling down the canal and under the bridge.The sun light does interesting things on the buildings as it finds its way into the these tight narrow canals.This is a high quality reproduction (60" X 36") of an acrylic painting I did in 2004. It has an ornate, coffee stained, wooden frame (66" X 42")It is one of my best urban landscape paintings to date. I hang it in my house; so beautiful and dramatic.
