About the art
Artist statement
With colours of pink, mint green, red and teal this strong graphic print has been very popular and has an interesting history. It was selected to be the cover artwork for the well-known Dulwich Festival Artists’ Open House (London) for their booklet, postcard and poster. More recently it was licensed by The Marylebone Hotel in London as the artwork and colour scheme for their cocktail menu in print and on the hotel website.
This hand-printed artwork was inspired by the architecture and interior space of the Young Vic Theatre in London, a mixture of old and new. Hand-printed by Michelle with dyes and pigments on linen, this unique artwork is stretched over a wooden frame.
