About the art
Artist statement
A new series of works of art inspired by the depth and mystery of the night. A monochrome series in shades of indigo reflects my interest in what is difficult to penetrate, shrouded in fog or mystery, but full of creative potential. It is an attempt to capture the feeling of depth and tranquillity, or what is silky and at the same time difficult to touch, and yet present when you get lost in the night. In the end, after exploring the own abyss, it is possible to be left with an image, or a memory, or an emotion.
Each work has 21 x 29.2 x 1.5 cm and they are signed on the back.
Gesso, Indigo Schmincke and final varnish with Lascaux medium 3.
