About the art
Artist statement
The artwork is part of a series that explores the impact of memory and the power of it. My process is intuitive and free to find an intimate and personal language, about memories, dreams, emotions. Memory is a complicated process of encoding, storing and retrieving all our experiences . During the creative process I use superimposed layers of very diluted colors, soft pastels and aqua monolith bars to plastically transpose inner feelings related to pleasant memories, moments in time, as a sophisticated journey or an intimate and personal poem.
Materials used : acrylics, soft and oil pastels, aqua monolith on linen canvas.
Signed on the front and the back.
