Artist statement
The inclusion of the pen in her paintings and the focus on the colors purple and yellow become a stylistic feature of her art. In her paper series, which she has just created, the combination and interweaving between painterly and graphic elements - the opposition and coexistence of pastels, graphite pencils, and acrylic paint - is implemented even more delicately than in her works on canvas. With the help of the pens, she disrupts, interrupts the flow of painting, or sets conscious accents.
