Artist statement
This set of works, Vitras Madrid, result of Barhumi's excursions triggered by the confinement, further fuses his varied techniques to produce new artworks that reflect his environment and experiences of recent times in Madrid. Always moving between abstraction and the figurative, the artist assembles new proposals fragmenting various motifs and appropriates ornaments from various sources that, amalgamated with his photographic work of symbols, graffiti and icons of the city, produce an intense aesthetic vigor.
