Artist statement
-Nadine Hardy transcends simplicity by infusing life into delicately sculpted silhouettes, emerging from an immaculate canvas. Executed with a palette knife, these forms elevate themselves through the tactile richness of materials, adorned with glimmers of gold leaf. The artwork conjures a refined human essence, as the viewer apprehends the silhouettes in their aerial dance, capturing both movement and lightness. The gaze remains unadulterated, free from any visual dissonance. An individual narrative weaves itself through observation, thus offering an unprecedented contemplative experience.
-Framed artwork: The painting is mounted on a 2 cm deep wooden chassis for hanging. The chassis (white) does not add any additional length or width.
