Artist statement
Nadine Hardy, through a delicate combination of abstract and figurative forms, explores genuine artistic freedom. Her work doesn't aim to faithfully reproduce real compositions and forms but rather to play with colors in a subtle manner.
Inspired by the landscapes of southern France, Hardy translates luminosity and memorable forms to invite the collector into a pictorial world where fluidity prevails. The artwork becomes an invitation to immerse or escape, allowing the viewer to pick up or continue the artistic journey. Harmony and the brilliance of colors become a source of inspiration, creating a semi-abstract landscape of captivating beauty.
