Artist statement
This installation is made up of over 400 small handmade shells in red and white clay, the work is available in larger or smaller groupings suitable for lobby or as a wall installation. The shells are tied on metal wire which can be made shorter or longer, everything is adjustable to suit the space
The installation is based on an old Greenlandic folktale around the importance of looking after and caring for our nature and the planet we live on
