Artist statement
Painted on and into an old Thai teak wood window shutter. The lower window represents the earthly, the ground- intentionally making it somewhat ambiguous, as the hills could be houses. The top part, well my ever appearing moon. The whole piece has of course a rustic feel to it, given the wood work.
