Visiting my cousin one Sunday afternoon, her garden was invaded by her flock of spoilt hens and cockerels. I think they knew I was taking pictures. A hen paused briefly to look at us ... or perhaps just to strike a pose. In any event, very paintable!
I just loved the way that the light illuminated a curious chicken feathers' with a bright glow.
A lively expressive painting of a white chicken, this gives the Artwork a fresh and immediate style.
