“Cristales crecientes” (growing crystals) is a work that talks about verticality and color. Solid geometries grows up like mineral crystals, from an horizontal plane in perfect verticality. This clean geometry and mineral like contrast with the gradient warm color that changes from red to orange giving an organic quality to a perfect solid, like a fruit. The dark color is dissolving into a light orange along with the geometry, like a living organism that interacts with the environment. The 3 pieces are displayed together as a colony of organic crystals.
