About the art
Artist statement
Glass has always been a challenge for me and being able to paint it a real pleasure!
In this work I have painted everyday bottles in different colours and I have also included one that cancels out the others as if to leave it up to the viewer to finish it!
It is a work I painted in 2019 and is part of the CAREZZA DI VETRO series I dedicated to my father and the work he did.
I painted it on a wooden frame covered with a thin layer of compressed paper.
The background colour is iridescent and is only perceived when observing it live.
