Have you ever admired a tightrope walker?
I have, and I feel chills down my spine just thinking about it!
As a child, they explained to me the meaning of centre of gravity, and it always seemed like magic to me to balance on very heavy things!
Now I paint things that defy gravity, I like the thrill caused by things that are about to fall!
In this work, I painted tyres, I imagined them at the very moment of finding the point of balance, stopped forever!
I obtained the background colour by mixing pigments in random quantities until I got what I wanted to obtain unique and unrepeatable colours.

I created the work with the technique of oil colour on canvas, I use oil colour by glazing, i.e. I superimpose many very thin layers of appropriately diluted colour to create the effects I want.


The work is signed on the back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
