Artist statement
Poetry of poet Bokusui Wakayama. Meaning: The leaves are sprouting quickly in light red, and the mountain cherry blossoms are about to bloom.
Paper made by the classical traditional Japanese method called KIRITSUGI paper(cut and join paper). Weaving minimalism into traditional forms of expression. Modern people sympathized with the aesthetic sense of ancient people, and wanted to express the common understanding of human beings over time with a modern sense. Unreleased new work.
Written with ink and brush on handmade japanese paper
