Artist statement
This series of ceramics are unique work by Norihiko Terayama. He broke ceramic at first, and makes it into a lot of fragment. He rasps some of fragment and gets their patterns on surface out. He put them back to original shape while adhering them with plaster. Vases and dish for this project were all antiques from Japan, China and so on.

Norihiko Terayama was born in 1977. After graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2006, he began his own studio [Studio Note] based in Japan. Most of his works feature motifs from natural objects.
