Artist statement
Using the Spray Foam to represent the human rapid expansion in our life to create the unique texture for showing the Love & Peace in abstract way. You can see inside out of the painting, like the maze and our mind.
Different angles showed different colour under the light. It's weird but you will fall into see what happen inside.
Concept:
Rapid expansionism is more fanatical than in the past. Social progress is only superficial but meaningless nowadays. We have lost enthusiasm and freedom for life. Everything is growing wildly and oppressed, pursuits of life are limited, like what you eat, entertainment, religion, thinking and behaviour, everything is at war. The limitation of life makes us ignored war. Under the contradictory social progress, war will not disappear at all, because human still existing.
War exists because of you & I. We can’t leave, but only escape.
Please forget ego and say goodbye to war.
