Artist statement
This image captures a sail, sewn by my father, as it moves with the wind above a coastal landscape. The one-second exposure allows the fabric to dissolve into a fluid gesture, merging with the forces shaping the environment. While the land remains fixed, the sail traces the invisible currents that define this place. The photograph is both a documentation of movement and a collaboration with the elements—where the wind, like time, leaves its imprint on the image.
