The painting was painted from nature in Taman. plein air.
Taman peninsula, the Krasnodar Territory. Russia.
The whole surface of the earth was a bright Golden ocean of wheat. The sky in the desert, it seems terribly deep and transparent. The hot sun seemed to freeze in the still air and time seemed to stand still.
Under certain lighting, the edges of the oil paint light up, a complex surface with iridescent color is obtained – this is the most important component of the author's concept.
