The work is written from nature, a wheat field, in Taman. The Taman Peninsula. Krasnodar region. Plein Air.
The whole surface of the earth was a bright golden ocean of wheat. The sky in the steppe seems terribly deep and transparent. The hot sun was just frozen in the still air, and the time seemed to stop.
With certain lighting, the edges of the oil paint light up, a complex surface with an iridescent color is obtained - this is the most important component of the author's concept.
