Artist statement
This work is from the “strokes” series and arises from a gesture made by hand with software tools. The gesture is based on a series of colors that are transposed onto the 2D plane, but as they remain fixed on their original pattern, they give the optical sensation of movement in three dimensions. For this serie I made 3 of these objects. This is the number 3. One remains for my collection and the other one has been sold. Automotive painting and laquer on mdf wood.
