About the art
Artist statement
This piece depicts a mystical creature, soaring above the mesh of thoughts. A journey of fantasy.
In many cultures the dragon motif is considered lucky & for good fortune, so I decided to incorporate this dragon motif into my artwork. The colour palette is pastel with the brightest shades of burnt orange for highlighting the dragon's curved body. The birds, human figure & other objects symbolise daily life.
