This piece, titled “Matrescence,” explores the intense and beautiful process of becoming a mother. Inspired by the idea of life-force energy, Patricia channels the vibrant hues of magenta and violet to represent the biological and emotional intensity of motherhood—the creation of new life and, in turn, the creation of a new woman.
