When the situation seems grim and our hope seems dire, the more reason we must not forget the dream we once had, as it would be our guiding light and the one thing that help us to get through the struggle and come out on the side.
Peisy's work often explores the boundaries of introspection and emotion in its most raw state, purest abstraction. Building layers upon layers of textural paint onto the canvas creates depth, enabling a visceral sensory experience of struggle, despair and darkness. In contrast, a metallic square frame represents a dynamic of positivity akin to escape and hope.
