About the art
Artist statement
When surfing or sailing on the sea, I have often experienced that the horizon shimmers in a special blue and the water glistens gold. I always had the association of having found the sunken Atlantis. With this abstract seascape, I tried to express the magical atmosphere described above.
The painting was exhibited in a solo exhibition in Bad Hersfeld in 2023 and at the ARTe Konstmesse in Constance in 2024. It has a glazed wooden shadow gap frame, which remains in the background due to the medium shade of gray and the frame height and does not restrict the expanse of the landscape. Of course, you can also purchase the picture with a different frame color or without a frame at a lower price. In addition, the sides of the picture are painted so that it can also be hung without a frame. The picture is signed on the front and back and is ready to hang. The picture surface has a varnish protection layer with UV protection.
