Peter Zimmermann is one of the most representative contemporary artist in German. A great number of his works have already been collected by many renowned public and private art institutions, such as the Art Center of Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
In Zimmermann’s epoxy research, the deconstruction and restructure of abstract images explore the limitation of painting skills and art conceptions. Accomplishing digital perfection through hand-made process, not only does the artist display his prescience and his mastery on two spheres but also establishes his unique style. Peter Zimmermann sets up a new form of aesthetics through combining technological rationality and human sensibility.
