Apsara - From the royal dance to the cultural symbol of the Cham people
Apsara dance of the Cham people is a dance performed by Apsara fairies to serve the gods. The dance movements are very slow, gentle and graceful. Expressed mainly through hand movements and extremely attractive facial expressions.
Each movement in the Apsara dance of the Cham people has its own meaning. This is a special thing that not everyone knows. For example, placing the arm across the chest means happiness; When the left hand is facing back, the right hand is clenched in front of the chest with 3 fingers facing up, the index finger touches the thumb. This is the symbol of Naga snake image in Cham culture….
