Pierre Bonnefille is a “pictorial explorer” inseparable from the triptych : material, colors and light. At the roots of his work he creates his own materials made from mineral powder, limestone, lava, marble, earth, natural pigments and metallic powders. His abstract paintings produce intriguing and captivating texture effects that ceaselessly change according to the light, representing the artist's memories and impressions of an ever-changing world, where the standpoint is crucial.
