About the art
Artist statement
This portrait drawing in black and white was inspired by Jean Cocteau
I have rendered it as a monotype, in a loose and freestyle drawing style, on white paper.
I inked up a glass plate, using water based acrylic paint, sketched the portrait on it and printed if off on paper
This is part of a series of 3 portraits, all monotypes.
