About the art
Artist statement
This portrait, Lucien in Orange was inspired by Lucien Freud, his work, his energy and the persona.
It was drawn and monoprinted on orange paper, using a loose and free style of drawing from imagination.
This artwork has been exhibited at The Barbican in London at my solo show in June 2019, and in Cascais Portugal in summer 2022 and a solo show at Aurea Museum, Lisbon 2024.
