“Listen”
This is my last 1 of 2 paintings on fabric series for 2018.In this artwork, the composed subject invites the viewer to ponder together with him the quiet serenity of life. As one melts into his cloudless gaze, the placid blue hues melt into each other against a rich, pulsating backdrop of traditional batik fabric, as if it were an endless river running, unchanging in its quiet chaos, and each moment fleeting, like the coming and going of times.
