Strangelove
Through a surreal landscape of passion, fear and desire, the artwork explores the complexities of the human psyche, spearheaded by the looming influence of the basic fundamentals of one’s culture and heritage, which shapes who we are as individuals with the passing of time. With mass media and the demands of the modern world, we fail to appreciate the simple pleasures of life. The artwork mirrors the metaphorical destruction and chaos in one’s mind as we begin to attempt to make sense of our surroundings and identity.
