Artist statement
The Stuttgart library in Germany is a monolithic cube-shaped building with a minimalist, light-filled interior. It was designed by Eun Young Yi and opened in 2011, the library has a collection of over 1.4 million books. When you are in Stuttgart you need to see the Porsche and Mercedes Museums along with the Stuttgart library. For me the beauty of the design along with the complete feeling of cleanliness and futuristic architecture.
