INSPIRED

This photograph was taken on a warm summer night in Spain.
The idea was, the phenomenal world of absolute emptiness,
of the black night sky, with the help of white sheets of paper, to bring it into shape. The strong land wind, accompanied by the sound of the sea, conjured up a dynamic lightness, on different levels.
The airflow on the individual plates, which had a different effect, caused each particle to acquire a seemingly own shape and an individual grey tone.
The yellow dots in the lower left corner, reminiscent of petals, were created by a random light source.

From the series Black in Lights

The series „BLACK IN LIGHTS“ is a continuous series with 10 works.
To create these photographs were light installations
in darkened rooms, or at night under the open sky,
exposed with classical technique.
The result is magical moments in which the power of
Black and white harmonize in harmony.
The photographs were mainly taken in London, Madrid and Paris.
