Artist statement
In a night experiment, Robert Sainer creates visual representations of the idea, the Eternal Flame that is in us and in every life. Bright and warming.
There are the visible forms and there are the forces of the universe that make life exist.
The photograph shows spiral energy created by the conditions of its environment and frozen by the photographic process.
The five elements – metal, wood, earth, water and fire – acted as the basis.
