Artist statement
This image depicts a horse rider galloping along the beach in Essaouira, Morocco, captured using the Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) technique. The overall scene is blurred, creating a dreamy, ethereal effect. The shoreline is barely discernible due to the blurring effect, which gives the image a sense of motion and fluidity, enhancing the feeling of the rider's dynamic and joyful ride. The black-and-white colour scheme adds a timeless and artistic quality to the photograph.
