Ruth Álvarez's painting, framed within the context of new figuration and contemporary naive art, seems to depict a fantasy world where a series of characters and spaces emerge, shaped by vibrant colors and dreamlike landscapes. The return to the natural, the animal, the mystical, and the cosmic is pertinent in the work. The characters are characterized by a dreamy and melancholic attitude.
