Artist statement
The characters are presented in harmony with nature, speaking from the wound caused by living in a society absorbed by overinformation, excessive consumption, stereotypes and immediacy.
Ruth Álvarez mainly uses female figures, while the men she represents in these works are far from the traditional concept "with a masculinity closer to tenderness and care". Everything, united through a characteristic orange light. Music is also part of his creative process.
