Artist statement
Little bit untamed, "Hibiscus No.1" is full of movement, vibrancy and liveliness. This painting is a combination of bright saturated colors and softer neutrals to evoke the feelings of standing still in the natural world while it shifts around you. "Hibiscus No.1" painting is inspired by abstract botanicals, breezes, laughter, warmth and the softer side of being human.
